Thought they would have thrown Bumgarner today on normal rest in such a big match up. Looks like Bochy made the right decision; the corpse of Derrick Holland pitched very well.

Madison Bumgarner has a great reputation as a post season pitcher, and deservedly so, but is he over-rated as a regular season pitcher? Seems slightly better than average; nothing more. Another mediocre performance yesterday against a very weak team.
