The Oldtimer
Older than dirt!!
Yes sir!!!It's a great time in the West as long as you don't root for the Giants or Padres.

Yeah Wood is pitching better than I would ever hope for. The Rockies are the team that is really surprising me. I still think the Backs will fold in the 2nd half of the season. Should be a great 2nd half of the season.Alex Wood 7-0 with a 1.90 ERA. All those Braves fans who swore he would be a stud should bask in their call right now. He's better than he's ever been at the moment.
Cody is on fire!!Cody Bellinger!!!
Bite your tung!Yeah Wood is pitching better than I would ever hope for. The Rockies are the team that is really surprising me. I still think the Backs will fold in the 2nd half of the season. Should be a great 2nd half of the season.
The way Cody Bellinger is going, he will be the ROY and the MVP of the NL.Bite your tung!
Way too early to get cocky.
I will say Goldschmidt is a beast, however when he has some protection in the 4 hole... MVP caliber.

Yeah good point, Bellinger would have to pick up his BA to even be considered the MVP. There is still half of the season left to play. The day a .269 hitting left fielder wins the MVP is the day I stop watching baseball.
There are 10 - 15 players ahead of him at this point.

I knew someone would research that. I should have said in my lifetime.Hank Sauer, 1952.
didnt need to he hit 270I knew someone would research that. I should have said in my lifetime.
Good. I can continue to watch baseball.didnt need to he hit 270
When I looked that up, Bellinger was hitting .270. He's now up to .271.didnt need to he hit 270
Actually no one is near the NL MVP, at this point of the season. Still a long ways to go.Good. I can continue to watch baseball.
Either way, Bellinger is nowhere near the NL MVP at this point.

Yes I agree. The Dodgers were 9-11 when Bellinger came up, now they are 50-26. Bellinger has been a force since he was called up. The amazing thing is that Cody won't be 22 until next month.True and lets say the Dodgers do win the west with the best record. The MVP might go to the most impactful player and right now its Bellinger.
