to put things in perspective:

Dustin May has thrown 55.2 IP... he's a third of an inning from tying his MLB career high set in 2020 and he's thrown 247.1 MLB innings
Kershaw hasn't thrown 150+ innings since 2019 and he's coming off a season in which he threw 30 innings
Tyler Glasnow had his first two seasons with 120+ innings in 2023 and 2024. He has yet to reach 140 innings
Tony Gonsolin has thrown 134 innings since the beginning of 2023 and he didn't pitch in 2024
Blake Snell is coming off a season in which he threw 104 innings. He has two seasons with 150+ innings, though at least he had 180.2 in 2023
Ohtani didn't pitch in 2024 after TJS

Don't get me wrong, I think there's a lot of upside in this rotation... but that's banking on the health of a lot of injury prone guys coming off some major surgeries in the last few years. Compiling arms isn't a new strategy for the Dodgers and it can pay off (look at 2021-22), but their pitching hasn't been elite for some time now
