Go fuck yourself...Thank you my friends scouty and Clayton for your input to my question which have been noted but I want to hear from a few more of our Cardinals buddies before I say what I want to say.

It's looking like the Brewers are going to be the team to beat.
Reds are beating up a team that claims to have better pitching than it has.
But the Braves can score runs. Mahle pitched six hoss innings last night for the Reds. He was hitting mid-90s, which suggests he's learning to get more out of a fastball with less effort. Always a good formula.
Reds get Suarez back this week and that adds a bat.
Cardinals season in a nutshell: win 1 game by the score of 9-1 and lose the other game by 1 run.
The thing I'm seeing with this team this year is that they have great depth and they're lacking that top tier talent that Pujols always gave them and Waino/Carpenter always gave them.Clayton, You're so right. That first game of the Mets series losing 6-5 in 10 innings was hard to take. The good news is that was only one game with 7/8 of the season left to be played.
Best win of the young season so far right there.

Carlos Martinez is great but seemingly only when his back is against the wall. He only missed on two pitches early but one hit a foot and the other drove in the run and now the Cards are looking at Thor and they are going to have issues in this game because Thor is top shelf. Carlos Martinez is top shelf when he is on but he is a bit streaky.
I think the Cards have a good team this year. If they make the playoffs, though, they might have issues going anywhere unless the bats get really hot.
Its early, though. Both in the game and in the season.
I think so. I think he is already at 8 for the season but he seems to perform better when runners are on baseMaybe I miss read something, but from Martinez stats on my fantasy sight...did he hit 3 batters last night?
Now it's on to Pittsburgh to see what we can do with the Pirates.
