Yes we do and I don't like the pitching matchup with the Cardinals starting Hudson but it is what it is and hopefully our hot streak will continue.

It's a good thing that we are hot because the Cubs are hot too and we're off to Chicago after today for a weekend series with those baby bears beginning tomorrow.

Hudson pitched a great game. The Cards lost by 1. That rested Molina, Goldschmidt, DeJong and Martinez.

Hudson pitched a great game. The Cards lost by 1. That rested Molina, Goldschmidt, DeJong and Martinez.

I agree, Hudson did pitch a great game but our offense was just not there with the rested players you mentioned out of the lineup.

If someone would have told me at the end of April, the Cards would be in this position w/ Carpenter putting up 2018 Dexter Fowler number I would have called you a liar. I will take it.

At this time last year Carpenter couldn't hit his weight even though he took off in the second half of the season. Wouldn't it be nice if he would begin his upward trend earlier this season?

As for Fowler, he has been a good surprise so far but I'm afraid to say anything since past history has proven that his hitting has gone on a weightwatchers program too.

The Cubs have already pulled even with us in the all important loss column so as you said it's time to even the series with what should be a great pitching matchup today.
