Guaranteed starter, young up-and-coming forward crop, shaky defense but has a stud in waiting in Hedman in front of him. There's a lot to like in Tampa.

I listed guaranteed starter first because I'd imagine that was tops on his list. Winning the
Cup is never a sure thing, and riding the bench on a team that loses in the playoffs is worse than starting on a playoff contender. At least for a 30 year old goalie who has what, 1 year as a starter in the league? And he led the league in sv% that year.

yea i understand what he did. i can not hold it against him. just like i can not hold anything against hamhuis. the only thing i did not like about hamhuis was that he seemed like he knew he wanted free agency and did not tell the flyers for a week. he seemed to just be making excuses.
