Wichita State is probably going to beat us...........I'm not gonna lie. We got ourselves into a pretty difficult position.........Wichita State in their house, where they took UCONN to the wire this year..........then if we would manage to win that we gotta go on the road to Va Tech where Duke couldn't even get it done this year.

The thing that bothers me more than anything is the fact that we've won 1 game away from home this entire season............
Wichita State always has a decent basketball team..........in fact, they have better talent than we do.........that is the sad thing. Like I said, they almost knocked off UCONN.
It's gonna come down to who wants to be in this tournament more, because I guarantee you we will not out-talent them. We will have to earn it.........if we win it won't be by much.

we will beat wichita st. but im thinking no way we can handle Va tech on the road, im a huge duke fan and i like acc basketball, always have, and they are very fast! and strong, they will beat us up inside with physical play!

I really hope the Huskers prove me wrong tomorrow..........I just don't see it happening though. Getting invited to the NIT was a disappointment for our guys, just ask Toney McCray..............but for Wichita State, this tournament is everything they were hoping to achieve.

LOL Poor JJM is unfortunately the epitome of a Nebrasketball fan. Hope, hope, hope, kicked in the balls. Hope hope hope, punched in the gut. Hope hope hope, kicked in the ass.
I'm glad I don't get too emotionally involved in their basketball as I've come to just expect it to eventually lead to a letdown.
Like baseball, basketball is a game of peaks and valleys. Sure the vast majority are going to get a big win now and then, but the good teams play their way out of the slumps and gel towards the end of the season. Nebrasketball hasn't found the ingredient to get over the hump. They follow a couple of good wins they're not supposed to get with ugly losses they shouldn't have.
That being said GBR against the Mo Valley Shockers tonight. The game is of interest to me as it will be somewhat telling in how the other Big XII teams fare in the big dance. For the most part I've got the Big XII doing a belly flop in my NCAA's bracket based on the fact Nebrasketball were mere Iowa St and Texas Tech wins away from a 4th/5th place conference finish and an NCAA birth.
IMO Big XII basketball is Kansas >> Texas >> a vast pile of mediocrity.
