Nikita Kucherov will the lightning keep him in the nhl for the rest of the season ? or will yzerman send him back to the AHL ?

Bolt Fore vacationing in Lancaster, PA. It was a great call-up by the Bolts. Kucherov set the tone for the whole game by scoring early. I didn't even realize he was called up till I read the Boxscore of the game.

I would keep him the rest of the season but wouldn't be shocked if they send him back down when Stamkos comes back.

Ya I think they will when stamkos comes back doobee. Yzerman's magic age is 21 or 22 years old when he brings guys up. Because stamkos is injuried I think he called up kucherov for a spark.

It all depends on how he plays? The Lightning could have this when Stamkos comes back:

I think when pyatt comes back they will send Kucherov back to the AHL the kid can score goals but he stills needs to work on his two way hockey game. Plus he is 20 years old he still needs time to understand the pro level but he is going to be a special player.

If he proves to be the player he has been in the AHL, might as well keep him on board. With Stamkos gone he might already be a top 3 player on the team. Can't hurt to have an offensive weapon like that on the team regardless of his defensive play.

I think it all depends on his play, why not keep him up? I like Tommy Pyatt but if you replace him with Kucherov, that means Malone will likely have to move back into the top 6. Personally i'm not a fan of that i'd rather Kucherov be in the top 6 than Malone even despite his lack of experience, he can score goals and that is what we need. The great thing is that the lightning also have some decent defensive forwards that Kucherov can play with in order to hide his defensive game woes, in saying that I played close attention to his game in his own end and it wasn't too shabby at all.

I think he has a 50% shot at staying on the roster after Stamkos comes back. I actually like his odds of proving himself as a keeper this season.
