There was some blogger (can't remember who ATM) who said right after the Sharks signed Hammer to the offer sheet that this was how it was going to turn out. I don't mind having Niemi in net at all, but the Sharks still have some upgrades to make on D. If they can get 2 top 4 Dmen, the Sharks will be very hard to beat this season.

I don't see it either. Greiss will probably be the one traded, although I would prefer the trade bait be Niittymaki. Either way, I'll be happy as long as Wallin or Huskins is traded.

The Sharks are always hard to beat during the regular season.

I'm not sold that he won't be a flash in the pan but for 2 mil and only one year there isn't much risk. If it doesn't work out there is a lot of salary comming off the books after next year to sign a replacement (or re-sign Niemi if he plays well).
