Drewiske
Harrold

Now the question is when are Teubert, Hickey & Voynov going to be ready for the show? Forbert was a nice pick as well.

Harrold is a utility guy now. He plays forward and D.

Drewiskie needs to step it up this year. I went on the Kings cruise this year and got to talk with Davis a little. He knows what he needs to do to stay on the ice. He is kind of caught between wanting to be a shutdown guy and wanting to be a puck mover. Oh and his girlfriend/wife is hot. My wife and the lady that was checking our passports both thought so.

I still expect some sort of trade involving Flash.....

I do too. I hope we can bring in someone decently young with a nasty edge but better wheels and puck ability than Big John. I love his heart and he is a great teammate but he can be a liability back there against quicker players.

Bummer would have loved Mitchell on the Sharks, but not for that price. Oh well, I'm glad DWil didn't give in to those demands.

Kings have plenty of cap space, so they should be good though.

Like I said in an earlier thread, Sheldon Souray was the only other name I heard in trade rumors with Flash

did you capitals and sharks guys hear or read anything about what kind of dollars your teams were offering for Mitchell?

for canucks it was (supposedly):

The Canucks, who are $3 million over the cap, were in discussions with Mitchell for something in the one-year, $1.8 to $2-million range. They had to back off once they heard the money the Kings were dangling. Mitchell said he understood.

Haven't heard anything on the numbers that were thrown around Stew, but it looks like money wasn't the issue with the Sharks, it was term (I admit, I'm disappointed in not getting Mitchell, but not for that price and not for that term.....I'd have been happy for a 1 year $2.75mil signing, but then, so would a lot of teams):
