On that note, one train ride I hope to do one day is Calgary to Vancouver where the train goes through the Rocky Mountains via the spiral tunnels.

Canucks' first four years, they played in the Eastern Division

Toronto was in the west for 17 years. Pittsburgh (and later Tampa and Miami) is farther west than Toronto and they were in the east.

The NHL was not good at setting divisions/conferences back then. They kinda nailed it with the more recent alignments and scheduling which is maybe why those teams are being babies about it - got too used to living in luxury!

Yah there were first blood scenes shot in the tunnels too ... cabin in the woods used the tunnels too which is appropriate since they are kinda freaky as fuck to walk through even in summer daylight lol

Yes at 12 seconds in if you don't see the light don't go in, most likely means something is blocking the other side.

This would be cool. Cross country from MTL though, not so much. The prairies was bad enough driving through. Maybe the rails through northern Ontario would be nice though (the drive between the Soo and Thunder Bay was gorgeous).
