I think everybody should look out for number one whatever their reason for doing so; that’s sure as hell what the NHL is doing.

Going to be interesting to see how many pending UFA’s opt out compared to the rest of the playing body.

As I understand it, the play-in games will be following playoff OT rules. If a game goes into double of triple OT, that could really push back the schedule of subsequent games that follow on that same day.

So they’re playing all of these games at the ACC & Rogers Events Centre #4?

Why don’t they move some games to Ricoh/MCC/Copps/Hershey/etc.?

You could’ve held a tournament across the GTA with two teams sharing a home arena and keep the ice fresh. What is the ice gonna look like on these rinks after 3 games a day?
