I think Montreal is better off right now with all that transpired.

As for the Canes what are they doing? Really have no clue at this point and on top of everything over the cap.

I have learned to hate them

But what an NHL off season

Imagine being over the cap and it's not because you signed Dougie Hamilton, but Jesperi Kotkaniemi
They LTIR'ed Jake Gardiner so they won't go over. I would imagine he is projected to return on the first day of the playoffs.

I don't think that Dvorak is the answer, but I guess Bergy could have done worse.

Carolina is just playing loose and fast across the board. I am not sure any one of the moves they did made them considerably better besides getting Svech long term. I am glad we got Bean for a 2nd, but still. WTF are they doing? Does Brind'amour want a bigger challenge? I think they are gonna regret letting Nedelkovic go.

The only thing stopping Mark Jankowski from being a regular NHL player is drive and work ethic. He has the size and skill.
He didn’t get to play much in Pittsburgh and when he did he was hardly noticeable on the ice

I had to look it up. 9 of his 11 points came in 2 “hot” stretches. He had 3 in the first two games of the season and 6 points in a 4 game scoring streak in April.

Yeah, he was streaky with the Flames as well - He was a pretty good PKer with Calgary and in my opinion was giving plenty of opportunities with the Flames, but failed to take advantage of said opportunities.

Bozak signs for 750k in St. Louis but the Penguins are content with PTO Brian Boyle and Sam Lafferty.
