shots 17-5 Vancouver after one, no damage.

Ottawa in St. Louis on the second night of a back-to-back to play a hot Blues team? Lehner might face 50 shots tonight.

SOOOO much bad reffing early in this Sens Blues game. That's to be expected in a Sens game reffed by O'Rourke (some Senator player fucked his wife for sure at some point).

What's surprising is that an O'Rourke has missed a couple of calls against Ottawa. O'Rourke is such a mouth breather that he can't even see calls against a team that he hates.

He is awful at his job on so many levels.

Ohhhh... instead they call it incidental contact (which involved Chris Butler pushing Condra into the goalie).

Butler then starts a fight with Condra and gets no extra penalty.

No goal.

No penalty.

No fucking clue by the NHL.

No fucking NHL customer (me) is coming soon to theatre near you.

Now Lapierre can't stick up for himself so Reaves comes to the rescue against Gryba (not really a fighter).

Gone to commercial but I'm sure this will have a Blues PP incoming. The refs, led by O'Wrong, have let this thing get away from them.

Game should be 2-2 and they've missed so many more calls that this game doesn't really resemble anything like a good hockey game. Too bad because both teams were competing hard for a while there.

Despite all this:

Terrible reffing
Seemingly bad coaching decisions
Bad luck
One of the best teams in the league

and the Senators play their best game of the year (perhaps) and win 3-2 after being down 2-0.

Is this why I hate the NHL or love it?

He might actually, finally, possibly be getting close to his pre-injury levels. Crosses fingers.
