Looking forward to the Rangers Islanders. The Rangers have won 16 of their last 19 but the Isles have made them look bad this year. Rangers need to hit back tonight. Plus they're 5 behind the Isles with 2 in hand so they're right there

Flyers win in a shootout and Wayne Simmonds has both of the shootout winners this season

Steve Mason came in early on in the first period after Ray Emery showed his usual incompetence and he ends up getting the win - he played well of course

Mike Smith was actually very good tonight for a change - only reason the Coyotes got a point

I only saw the last 15 minutes. Caps had an early advantage in shots apparently. But the Jackets outshot the caps 15-4 in the third or something like it. The Jackets just went after them for the part I saw.


Todd Richards just said that the start was hard to watch, and it was "two teams that clearly had five days off".
