I feel like the Sabres need some variation of the old Harry Neale can't win on the road or at home quote to describe their inability to play well at the beginning or end of the game or really anywhere in between.

3rd period tells you everything you need to know. Tied after two, giving them their best chance to break this losing streak in a long time... and they proceed to get out shot 18-2 in the period and give up 3 goals.

Credit of course to the Flames who were the better team though (does that sound as odd to hear as it does to say?).
