In Rinaldo's defense, I can see snow spraying from the blades of his skates which is clear evidence he is attempting to slow down. That should lessen his suspension from 12 games to 10 imo.

I hate this type of hockey with the passion of a million burning suns. It's idiotic. Rindaldo being a prick started it. Now every hit must be met with a fight, and then fights with more fights. Scuderi threw a perfectly fine hipcheck, after hurting his eye previously, and Vorachek attacked him. Then Downie lost his mind again. It's not freaking hockey, it's a sideshow. Play the effing game.

BTW: I think that Del Zotto hit was worse than the Rinaldo one, outside of the resulting injury.

The spray looks to me (in that replay at least) like he's digging in to make the turn and hit him more squarely.

That's a pretty bad one. So ridiculously late.
