The 2015 Draft Combine is next week! For the first time in history, the combine will be held in Buffalo.
Word on the street is 119 of the 120 prospects invited have accepted, with the lone exception being Ilya Samansov (who some consider to be the top goalie in this year's draft).
NHL Central Scouting invited their top 75. The remaining 45 were essentially voted by NHL teams (i.e. teams submitted lists of who they wanted at the combine and the 45 most requested prospects, besides the 75 Central Scouting invited, were invited)
Interviews with teams will be held June 1 to 5. Sometimes word slips out of who the Flames are interviewing. Flames usually interview around 50 or more prospects at the combine.
Physical testing has been changed a little bit this year. Majority of the testing will take place on June 6. In past years VO2Max and Windgate tests were done back to back on the same day. This year VO2Max will take place on June 5 and the Windgate will take place on June 6 with the rest of the tests.
