Times from 10-10. Earliest you could have been skipped is noon. The draft started when he set the draft order. If you like to repick go ahead but Roy was a stud goalie. If you want Greyzky then take him.

I am not worried about it at all. I wanted Roy, I was taking him no matter what. The other option was a trade back, but who knows if what I could have gotten for the 1 pick would have been worth the risk of not getting Roy. I am happy with my pick.

It is the interesting part of the first time with a new sport. With all other sports I am to the point where I have an idea where someone will go. and all trades based on that are a safer concept. With this being the first hockey draft for me though, All I have to go on is my preference. For all I know I could have gotten Roy with the last pick of round 2. With all of these drafts I lean heavily on defense, so I always tend to take them early.


Although the only time I ever finished in the money was in baseball when I completely ignored pitching......

This is correct! Roy is my proof that I will let talent for a team I cheer for outweigh the person. Roy is a real piece of shit for a human being, and has been arrested several times for beating his wife. I know that I should despise him, but he was so damn good for my team!

Me cheering for Roy is why I can't judge Pats fans for standing by that team, or Kobe fans for standing by him. I am no better with my support of Roy.
