Well yeah thats part of it.

Kind of a yes or no lol. And kind of a big factor.

Just didn't know if for all these "current" drafts you guys have been doing simply means guys currently playing or if it extends beyond that and means guys at the level they are currently playing

I think they usually leave it up to the voters, which sucks, because there are people who think O'dell Beckham is a better pick than guys like Torry Holt. But, you have to cater to your audience, I guess.

Haha yeah that shit sucks too my question was I thought a simple one though.

So as to not name drop I'll use an NBA reference. Is it Tim Duncan the hall of famer or Tim Duncan 2015-2016.

peak 3-4 seasons for me.

How I draft and how I vote.

I use more of a combination, but it certainly is more peak than career... I use longevity to help measure consistency, which i think is almost as important as a players max potential(peak)...

I try to vote on the body of work. I look at current players as if they were going to retire tomorrow, since that's all I have to go by for them.

Definitely HOF Duncan. The problem is we dont all agree on how exactly we should judge HOF Duncan. Some of us think its based on the body of work of his career and some think its more important how he was at his peak which leads to problems with guys like (most famously) Mike Trout. We dont have any sort of consensus on how a guy like him who's only played 4 full seasons should be judged because his body of work career wise isnt as impressive as a lot of retired players but his actual play outperforms what many of those players ever did in a given season.

Yeah, you know what? I kinda do too.

If a guy sucks at the end, like say Peyton Manning, I just throw it out though.
