Question for ya.

Does anyone ever break 92 or 163?

My opinion is, someone some day could go past 92 goals but 163 assists will never be touched.

Id say no chance on assists. 163 is insane. And if 92 goals does happen I simply don't see it happening anytime soon. I mean just look at Ovie an extreme talent with size and speed to go along with a "automatic" PP shot. He ain't even close.

And then Kane whose having a FANTASTIC year has 89 pts with 51 assists lol. 51. He's over 100 shy and people are loving his season.

163 is just amazing.

Backstrom is quite a bit better and still really just in his prime years. He's a PPG player and having that as a 4th liner is huge. He's a better passer, much better shooter, better in the face off dot. It's really not close.

Little is better on the PP but I highly doubt were using either on a PP. All I said was you had the weaker of two teammates not way worse. But wheeler is better especially with the puck.

I will however spare you the Milk +\- stats for both comparisons. While pretty egregious, it's not really a go to argument for me lol.

It's easier to be a point per game player when you are surrounded by better players, Richards was in his 7th season before he even played in a playoff game. Their face off win% is almost identical. I myself would probably take Backstrom over Richards but he surely doesn't shit on him as you first suggested.

Anyone who uses +/- in an argument should go back to watching murder she wrote while listening to Barry Manilow because they know nothing about hockey.

Only two other players have ever gone over 100 assists and nobody has in 25 years. No way it's ever broken.

Nothing I said is untrue lol. He's literally better at those things. And 3 % in the dot is a pretty good margin. Backstrom actually is a average draw man. Richards was just really poor.

And it's never "easy" to be a PPG guy. A lot of skill goes into that. And usually you have to be able to pass and score. There are like 10 guys doing it for just this year. And Backstrom last year was 6th in pts while getting 78 in a full 82.

This all also shows the amazing off 163 fucking assists. But Backstroms stats come from a lot of talent as well.

+\- isn't quite like pitcher win total but it is pretty fucking pointless. Can't ever really be used to draw comparisons for guys on different teams as there are way too many goddamn variable.

My bad guy gets around more than a prostitute I looked at his % strictly in his lightning days. Shoulda figured he could crack 50%. Even Grandlund is close to 50 and he sucks.

But on the basis of corrections. Richards won a cup(hell of a playoff run) in year 4. It was probably 7 years from being drafted but it was his 4th season.

Yeah not sure what I was thinking about him not playing in a playoff game until year 7. I worked like 15 hours today leave me alone! lolzzz

03-04 was the year the Bolts won the Cup, I forget, who won the Conn Smythe that year? lolzzz

I left out goalies for that. I think my top 15 is pretty consistent with what most legit lists will have(not fucking fan vote troll or bleacher report bullshit).

I do think Trottier is grossly underrated most times all time GOATS are mentioned. Hes really right in that list for me.
Hey, don't feel bad, I had 3 of your top 11 and still went down in the round of 8

That's why I said "(hell of a playoff run"). But yeah I knew it was same year as the panthers/pats SB somehow. Odd fucking thing to remember.

I'm going to bed, see y'all in the morning, Hopefully we can get the baseball draft started. Another great hockey team you drafted buddy! At least you didn't lose in the first round like I did in the first hockey draft!

Ya know it's weird, I was just thinking about how much I love the Minnesota Wild but I could live another 50 years and I still wouldn't feel about them the way I did about the North Stars.

All cuz Josh would never vote for me.

Question for anyone.

Not who do you like more.

But who do you think is the better hockey player

Crosby or Ovechkin?

I would guess most would say Ovechkin but if you promised me I get Cindy for 80 games a year and he's healthy for the playoffs I take Crosby.

Great question. I hate Crysby and love Ovi because I am a homer. I believe Ovi has the better numbers but cant confirm this right now because NHL Pro Reference isn't loading right now for me.
