I am surprised at how well he did after coming back from a major knee injury. Malkin took that setback in stride and put up his best goal scoring and points per game season of his career.

Way to go Geno!

Heck, the guy probably could've won the Masterson too! Obviously Patches story was a bit more dramatic, and ultimately very very deserving.

Just watched Geno's Hart speech. I...I seriously teared up. That was so genuine. Dang Geno. Also: Vince Vaughn, you can't be Mr. Super-Duper Hockey Celeb and botch the best player in the league's name THAT badly. Of course, he's a Hawks fan, so it's not like he follows anything else, right?

You are right about the Masterson. I guess ACL injuries are too run of the mill. Still, ain't no shame in winning the Hart instead

Somebody didn't get their vote in until after the first round but before the second, I suppose.

Also, suck it, Rinne. Time to buy a hockey game with a Flyer on the cover! And hopefully not have his numbers plummet/him get injured!
