Price had a average team. Look where they ennded up?
Still a crock that Mason and Bishop are on there and Bernier isn't.
Rask is #2.
quick
I'm surprised Quick didn't get #1. He carried the Kings to the Cup the first time. The Second Cup run was almost as spectacular.
Well, I had voted Rask number 1 earlier, so he'd better land the No. 2 spot.
Beat me to it. I would take Bernier over half the stiffs on that list. Maybe all of them.
I've stated this before, but I'm going to throw it up again.
33 goalies played 50+ games over the last two seasons. 25 of them posted a better SV% than Jonathan Quick.
Either SV% is a completely meaningless statistic, or he's not the 2nd best goalie in the NHL. I just think that the first argument is a lot tougher one to make than the second one.
My issue with Quick is the same as my issue with Hasek. I am trying to teach young goalies technique and they see those tasered octopi having success and they develop really poor habits.
He wins, and that's great for him. But I wouldn't classify him as exceptionally good at the art of goaltending.
Plus he kick goalposts off on purpose.
The B's goalies have led the league in Save % 4 of the last 5 seasons I believe. They allow a lot of shots from the wall cause they collapse down. This is Julien's system that helps do thisI've stated this before, but I'm going to throw it up again.

Mason I agree. Bishop I'd take over BernierStill a crock that Mason and Bishop are on there and Bernier isn't.
