The price of DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket package will increase by a little more than 4 percent in 2018. According to figures on the company's web site, the satellite provider has priced the basic package at $293.94 for the upcoming season, up from $281.94 a year ago.Feb 20, 2018

True, but I like to watch it live.

I don't know about live but same day. I hate live, too many delays.

I get the real package with cable. And my PVR can record 12 things at once.

So I pick 5 or 6 must see games and a few others and record them, finishing up just right for the afternoon slate....

The only way to fly.

$130 Cdn for the season.

You cannot..... unless you cheat.

Was a Sunday Ticket user for long time and 2 years ago dropped the cable BS, with all of its wires, and went for streaming, including NFL Game Pass. Hope @Hank Kingsley does not get offended or have a stroke when he reads this :)

Supposing you have a fast and broad wifi connection, as most do nowadays, I like game pass more because do not need subscription to cable network to view. And their tech support is very good. Additionally, game pass gets you ALL games - preseason, reg season, and post season, including SB.

Having said that, I have two pet peeves with game pass:

1) They seem to have dropped the ball on Apps for iPhone, Roku and Amazon. To watch on big screen, I must hook up laptop to TV via HDMI cable (no biggie), enter through internet browser, and voilá, there it is.

2) Ironically, in U.S., Canada and territories, the games are not live. In other countries, you get the games live .

C’est finit.

I have no idea why anybody would want to watch on a phone or tablet or computer screen for that matter.

I have as good internet as you can get and streaming is still inferior to cable. To watch one thing, it's adequate.

To watch multiple things like 6 games in the AM, jumping back and forth between them and skipping commercials and such, it sucks ass. I tried it when they blacked Sunday Ticket out 2 years ago till the enlightened screamed bloody murder and got it back on cable.

As I've said a thousand times, OK maybe 10, I prefer to do it right, no compromises. I have to spend? So be it. I'm not a poor college kid, I can afford it.

It would be.

But I have no use for hoops or baseball and I only watch hockey these days come playoff time and we get every game on cable up here.

I didn't watch much college hoops and I never watch hockey it just came with the package. All sports-all games, plus 55-65K channels for $25/month. Plus includes Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, movie apps and new movie releases. Damn good deal

I pay a lot more for that to my cable company. But I'm not fussed about it.

Cost of doing bidness.....

This an Amazon Firestick, a buddy told me about this and I think this is up-and-coming. As soon as others find out about other ways to stream cable companies will be out of business, just a matter of time.

If I wanted another firestick for these same features I would tack on another $25/month, I only have one now I can always move it to other tv's if I want to put in the bedroom, etc. A great deal but with this firestick the key is having top of the line internet. I had crappy internet at my old place and it was suitable, it's been amazing with this Cspire fiber I currently have.

I have 5 TVs.

Only one is smart.

My 12 barrelled PVR lets me move from room to room with zero fuss. And it handles my Netflix and Youtube.
