You know as well as I do country, competition is part of the game. If Cleveland thinks they got a better QB they should have made the move. He has been better than Mayfield has been. Baker would be stupid to hold out and not get paid.Browns wont have a QB he has leverage
Thats the thing he will eventually get paid by forcing his way out Browns made the mess now they gotta deal with itYou know as well as I do country, competition is part of the game. Same here in Washington. What is bad in having more than one good RB in your backfield. Guys who are fighting to keep their jobs usually play better than guys who are assured they have the job.
Actually if he sits the Browns don't need to pay him. He will lose 1.4M for every game missed including preseason games.Thats the thing he will eventually get paid by forcing his way out Browns made the mess now they gotta deal with it
He can always say he has an injury and cant play all the while showing up like his contract says the Browns are fucked the first 4 games of the seasonActually if he sits the Browns don't need to pay him. He will lose 1.4M for every game missed including preseason games.
The Browns won't cut him because if they do they still pay him. They can try to trade him, and sitting with the 1.4M per game fine makes it easier to do so
If he claims injury and its a non football injury I believe the club has the option not to pay him.H

DamnEagles got Bradberry. 1 year 10m.
Makes sense. Maybe after june 1st we’ll see some movement.
Fear paralyze, even if he would have gotten an entire year, trading for him would have been well worth it. 3 to 4 games for he says, she (all 22) says IMO is still too much. Oh well, he's a Clevelander now. We have Wince!!! { SIGH}
Hmmm
Perhaps not the whole "fuck themselves" thing but if I'm advising him, they would certainly have to pay more than the 18M owed this year using their own motto... "Sorry business is business."Baker Mayfield should hold out and tell them to go fuck themselves
The team to beat in the division just got better!!Eagles got Bradberry. 1 year 10m.
Problem is, had they extended him before all of these WRs began getting paid, they could have gotten him for around 20M per.They have to make a run and extend TMAC . Is there any player out there who makes the commies a legit super bowl contender ? If not just save your money
you are 100% right here unless mac doesnt want to be hereProblem is, had they extended him before all of these WRs began getting paid, they could have gotten him for around 20M per.
Now the starting point is 22 to 23M. This is poor planning and organizational malfeasance especially for one that appears to be penny pinchers or incapable of manipulating the salary cap.
