No team in any sport stays on top forever although when I was growing up I thought the New York Yankees would.

No lie, he cost the Vikes 7 points last game. Two things Zimmer can't find is a kicker and a defense. To be fair Cousin's can't hang onto the football when being sacked.

I resisted saying that earlier. Allen looks like the best of the lot but Smith has a rabbits foot or something. No matter how he plays the WTF win more often than not.

Some folks like when a man tosses another man around like a rag doll .... I am one of those men and this is why I love defensive football. Of course you can do it on offense to an extent but defense is more aggressive by nature. BAM!!!

I know you are a big time Cousins fan but why do you think he continues to struggle when it comes to winning the big game?

No telling but I also think it is a 50/50 thing. There are a lot of games where he brought the team back only to see the D or a kicker give it right back. I forget who it was a few weeks ago, maybe Dallas. He gave them the lead back 3 times and the D blew it three straight times.

He can be awesome but man can he throw a stinker in there from time to time. They lost to Green Bay the first game but scored 34. Who do you blame for that? Rodgers was better or Minnesota's defense was worse?

Just two weeks ago baldy was saying giants had the best defense in the division. Can’t say he was wrong at the time, but redskins are putting it together here lately

I hope our coaches and players are studying the film thoroughly on the Giants vs. Seahawks game because I can't remember when the Seahawks offense has been shut down like they were by the Giants. Yes, our D is the real deal!

I understand what you are saying and my question to you about Cousins really wasn't a fair question since football is a team sport.

I accept it. It is today's measuring stick while at the same time football is the ultimate team game. You only need one guy to screw up to ruin a play ... on either side of the ball.

When Cousin's career is over he will go down stat wise as a top 50 and maybe top 40 QB. He is also Matthew Stafford or many others. When he is hot which is more often than not he is a force, when he isn't hot he can be really bad.

I think Cousin's can be summed up like he last game against Tampa. The kicker misses 7 points. Cousin's gets sacked twice while inside the 20. Missed opportunities. He throws a helluva a deep ball and is pretty accurate though.

Next question, how can Smith play mediocre at best and win at a .667 clip? I know the answer to the last game, D scored 14.
