They want you benched because you're not living up to your promise and that's on management/coaching and the alternative (asking for management/coaches to be fired) is a reason to get traded or cut without the desired result. There are several no-nos for QBs in the NFL, never point at anyone else, including management/coaches and always take the hit... even if it's evident where the blame lies. How many times have we heard QBs take blame for dropped passes for example?Ummm, if the players want you benched, why is that on the organization?
