If you're a young QB and the Bears draft you, you must immediately report an extreme case of abuse prior to reporting.
More organizations ruin QB'S than do the the talent himself.

Ummm, if the players want you benched, why is that on the organization? Maybe the player didn’t do what was required if the players had the coaches back.

That being said, Eberflus is an idiot.

They want you benched because you're not living up to your promise and that's on management/coaching and the alternative (asking for management/coaches to be fired) is a reason to get traded or cut without the desired result. There are several no-nos for QBs in the NFL, never point at anyone else, including management/coaches and always take the hit... even if it's evident where the blame lies. How many times have we heard QBs take blame for dropped passes for example?

Eberflus is just another in a long line of coaches who find themselves hired by a dysfunctional organization. What's happening to Caleb is no different than what happened to Tribusky, and Fields before him in Chicago. Eberflus is a lame duck head coach and they've already fired their offensive coordinator.

Sure, why not? Let them overpay a guy they could have gotten at a far lower cost.

our receiving core sucks and he was a 2nd rounder for a reason
I understand your reasoning and that is what I expected you to say. Were Chase Young, Jamin Davis, Jahan Dotson and Forbes all drafted in the 1st round for a reason?
