That's the cost of activism, and I'm sure that the millions that support him outweighs those who don't. Political speech is political speech no matter what form they take and that jackass in the picture is either too ignorant to know it or he's one of those dumb assed folks that believe that it's heroic to not care.
Good to know that you see mistreatment of your fellow citizens as BS! (CK's cause) and if a lot of people are offended by that, let them seek therapy, specifically citizenship therapeutics.
He wasn’t mistreated , in fact he had numerous advantages and he still does . And if you are going to enforce things about politics then do it both ways . No one in a Harris shirt was asked to leave.

Perhaps that was because people with better sense decided not to wear a Harris shirt!

It never happens period . You are naive if you think otherwise. . And let’s not forget a Harris supporter should have every right to wear the shirt and not have to excercise “ common sense “

If you allow companies to suppress free speech, soon you won’t have any rights .

Does this mean kneeling down during the national anthem and wearing a Trump shirt are the same.

What's next, Josh starts banning Washington fans for wearing their Redskin gear?

Should Tony Timpe have received the same media attention as George Floyd?

These are the things we can drive ourselves and others nuts or maybe we can just come to a sports forum and talk about sports. :noidea:
some people just have to bring that shit up.

Ok, let's test this out. You have a right to eat whenever, whatever, and wherever you choose to do so, correct? Well, except in places where you're not allowed to bring food or drink into those places!
AND...
Just in case you want to make the argument that eating isn't a free speech issue try shouting "Fire" in a movie theater or some other venue.
Finally, reading the first amendment and you'll note that it only applies to what the government can and cannot do related to "free speech."

In fact: Here ya go!

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

According to that dumb ass ruling in "Citizens United" corporations are people too!

The fire in a movie theater isn’t the same as this . And as we know in this administration govt has colluded with industry to suppress views they disagree with .
Eating isn’t free speech , I will make that argument
And yet again letting Harris shirts go while not letting Trump shirts go is discrimination
And companies can’t practice discrimination

I actually agree with this.

I also believe there is more to the story than just a shirt being worn.

I also believe companies and individuals should be able to refuse service, like making custom cakes they don’t agree with.

Yelling "Fire!" in a crowded movie theater is precisely the same as this, show me anything or any reference to free speech where either is different. (They're not because speech is speech by any definition)

The "eating" reference was aimed at your assertions about freedoms in private places, you know this.

There's zero evidence that "Harris" shirts were let go, it's a poor excuse for supporting the jerk who wore the Trump shirt and manifests like this; "they did it too!"

According to several recent SC rulings, private companies can practice discrimination.

Colorado Civil Rights Commission, 584 U.S. 617 (2018), was a case in the Supreme Court of the United States that dealt with whether owners of public accommodations can refuse certain services based on the First Amendment claims of free speech and free exercise of religion, and therefore be granted an exemption from laws ensuring non-discrimination in public accommodations—in pa...

I would argue that the ongoing tiff over abortion is also a restriction on certain freedoms (Religion, religious neutrality, discrimination against U.S citizens vs a non-citizen in that undeveloped/unborn thing) Now mind you I am personally against abortion, however, my stance on this isn't universally shared, so, my rock solid stance on Roe v Wade is that it is based in a wrongly decided SC ruling in 1973. What this country lacks in law is a "Mind your fucking business statute!" wherein abortion is a right, as is a stance against it, and as such, there will be no laws or opportunities restricting them and no right to inject your beliefs, religious or otherwise into such actions that create any restrictions. In 1973, the ruling in Roe should have been "Mind your fucking business!"

I'm on it (there's a new post)
also, I agree with there being more to the story, primarily, empty vessels making more noise.

i never saw political whining till 9 years ago at this level tbh.
I have but of course, I'm much older than some here and I've seen a lot in my time above ground.
Democracies are constantly in flux, they are noisy, messy, and contentious, even deadly! This is not new to the country, it's an ongoing process that if we're not vigilant, could see it all, come to an end fairly soon.
