Mac Jones getting drafted at 15 AND by New England is the story here, not his talent level comparatively speaking. Imagine taking your car to the shop for repair and getting a loaner that's exactly like your own car with the seats adjusted exactly to your tastes. That is what Mac Jones fell into and he'll do well in that system because of his good fortune.

BTW: this subject reminds me that Washington missed out on Justin Fields because they played it too cheap in wanting the player to "fall" (as N.E. did) to them instead of doing what Chicago did... aggressively and smartly going after the player. SMDH

Yes he is , good in the slot , tackles well , plays the screen well . It was a huge surprise he was cut

I like him but also understand why they let him go. As dad said he plays WR and RB screens well. Decent in the downfield passing game, not great.
