Way to early to be wondering if this is the best QB class ever. It does have potential but too soon to answer that question.

good start for JJ as you would hope for a guy going up against 2nd/3rd team guys as all the qbs were . none fell flat on their faces which is a good sign

Atlanta is in a win-win situation right now. Penix will command starter's right and that makes Kirk's trade value go way up next year no matter what happens this year. The rich get richer!

If I'm Kirk I'm pissed. They passed on Odunze, Bowers, and Latu. I get it from Atlanta's pov but they should have been up front with Kirk.

If I'm Kirk, I'm thrilled!! He's gone from a bad team to a good one and now from a good one to a better one, while being paid a kings ransom at eveyvstop. Make no mistake, this year's Atlanta team is very talented, and if health isn’t an issue, they are going to win a ton of games with him. To me it was a stroke of brilliance drafting Penix and signing Cousins.

Definitely would have been a gamble. Don't recall anyone pre-draft saying Penix was a top 10 pick. QBs always go early though. If I'm Kirk, I'm still pissed.

I just recall him being left handed and lots of college injuries.

I told the entire board about Penix very early on. Dude is an assassin when protected.
Kirk's getting paid but i'm sure that an appearance deep into the playoff wouldn't bother him, so if you're him why exactly would you be pissed?
