Kramer would find something. Maybe because he is black and doesn't have the mental capacity for the position. lol I don't know, it would be something that would offend someone.

they would say he isn't NFL ready, and that he needs to be a backup for 2 years or something. When Dalton's contract is up, he'd be the guy.

Well, we'd have to trade up to #1 to draft him. So, that ain't happenin.

The Chiefs will draft him and he'll be a star. We're stuck with whitey.

It is rumored, the 49ers have reached a deal with some "unknown team" to trade Alex Smith to them. The most rumored team has been the Chiefs who have shown the most interest and called multiple times inquiring about him.

"draft experts" are suggesting that if the Chiefs do indeed trade for Smith that a QB may not be drafted until the 1st 10 picks have been made. That includes some pretty dreadful teams at QB like Jacksonville and Cleveland, but suggested they may bypass the QB because they recently drafted one in the first rounds.

Yeah, just read that. So, we'll have to trade up to #2 to get Geno.

Teams go apeshit over QB's. There's absolutely no fucking way a QB is not drafted in the top 10.

I agree. I think Smith will be taken in the top 10 somewhere, but in my opinion, only Smith is worth a top 10 pick, where as all t he other QB's would fall late 1st to early second in my opinion.

If we were going to take a QB in the first or 2nd though, which I would highly doubt this team would do after investing in Dalton, I would want:

Mike Glennon
EJ Manuel
Tyler Bray

Those are the 3 QB's I am most interested in.

I would like to see T'eo fall to us still in the first.

1st - MLB, Manti T'eo
2a - WR, Justin Hunter
2b - RB, Knile Davis
3rd - S, Bacarri Rambo

Davis is probably a 3rd to 4th round pick still in the eyes of most, but I think his stock just went way the heck up after his initial combine workout. As well it should. That is a rare blend of speed and power.

No on Te'o. No on Davis in the 2nd.

1st-Arthur Brown or Cyprien
2a-If we get Cyprien, then Minter or a LB. If we draft Brown, then Elam.
2b-Joseph Randle

If we must draft a WR, and I'm not sold that we should, I'd get Robert Woods with the early 2nd rounder. Dude has ridiculous hands.

I like Brown, but not sure I like him as our 1st round pick, and I am completely not sold on Cyprien, where there are probably 5 other S I would rather have before even looking at him, especially in the first where Vacarro, Reid and Elam would be available with our pick.

Wood is a decent WR, as you said, great hands, but Hunter is being compared to Julio Jones right now with the combine stats, plus his size and speed. Dude is a 6'4" burner with good hands. I honestly do not know how draft sites have him ranked as a 2nd to 3rd round WR, because I think he looks very solid as a late 1st to early second round WR pick.

Turns out Manti is slow.... No big surprise there.

Crash, you might want to break off your internet relationship with the guy - He's going to be a bust.

They matter when people have been questioning whether you have the athletic ability to play three downs at the next level.... Given that there were already concerns after the Bama game, this doesn't help change the conversation.

Most scouts, plus NFL network and other things said his 40 time was fine, that it wouldn't hurt his stock in the least.

Whatever it takes! I can suck some virtual C, as long as it is just virtual, if it means landing Manti. LOL

And where do you think his stock currently sits?

I'd say it's between 18-30. Before looking slow in the NC and then finding out he had a fake girlfriend it was top 10.

I say 15-25. But it was like that before the combine, so this combine didn't hurt his stock at all.

But it could have helped a ton. If was top 10 until the NC performance and went down because of fears of athletic ability, ripping off a nice 40 time and a quick shuttle drill would have changed a few opinions.
