Shhhh, here's a little tip for you but you have to promise not to tell anyone. The playoffs haven't started yet.
Chargers are still alive
So are the Bills. ShhhhhhChargers are still alive
No way. he was leading it a few years ago and then Cam Newton went on a tear and rightfully won it, last year also but Ryan finished strong and played 16 games while TB only 12. Brady and Wents were neck and neck about 4 games ago till. Wentz got injured and Brady hasn't been brady like last 5 games, he doesn't deserve it now. He was crushing the yards and tds/ints with only 2 the first 9 weeks and now has thrown 1 every game
Where does this "last 5 games" theme come from? His fith game ago he was over 100 passing, his last game he was over 100 passing. Inbetween he had a bad game agaisnt Miami in the high 50's, and two games in the 80's, 82 & 87 respectively.
Miami, a place he hasn't historically played all that well, with a boat load of starters out, including Gronk.
At Buffalo, a decent def. team,
At Pitts, where he threw for ≈300 yards, 62% comp, 1 td 1 pick, 88 rating
Great game,
meh game,
bad game,
decent game,
great game.

He his held to a completely different standard than every other QB in the NFL. And the 5 game struggle theme doesn't hold water.
You left out cheating
Larry Johnson had over 2k last year and 20 tds
Thanks last 4 games proves my point 4 tds to 5 int and like an 80 rating dropped his stock for the year, not MVP no#s. I could care less who wins MVP and Freeman was nuts to even have Gronk in mix, let alone no#1
It's supposed to be based on his season as a whole, not a small sample of games.

4387 yards, 30 tds, 8 picks, 1.5% int, 104.2 rating, with one game to go.
Those three games didn't help, but they didn't hurt as much as people think.
No I know that but he was on pace for 5k 40 tds and 3 int, that would have cemented it, we'll see. Hope it's his achilles for his sub-Brady performances and not Father time. He has been a front runner for MVP last 4 seasons, so not too shabby and no#1 QB rated by his peers and only player top 5 every single year
Yep, Alex Smith has a better rating than Brady. It's supposed to be based on his season as a whole, not a small sample of games.

Something else I can't find, his adjusted interception stat. I can find 2016, but not the current 2017.
This is the stat that actually should be used for all QBs, instead of just straight up Int.
Not sure if you are familiar with it, but it adusts the number based on tipped balls, int's defended, dropped int's, end of the half hail mary's, end of game hail mary's, 3rd down passing/punts, etc.
It takes into account what should not have been an int credited to the QB, but also what should have been charged to the QB.
Last year for example, Brady's adjusted number was actually worse, not by much, but slightly worse.

Last year Brady threw 28 tds and only 2 int in 12 games . That 14/td-1 int is the best in NFL history for a season, not sure what you are talking about worse?
It probably should be Gurley in what I would consider a pretty unspectacular year for anyone who could separate themselves from the pack, ie there was no Matt Ryan-type year this season. I wouldn't even give Gronk any consideration, even though he's probably the best TE in the NFL.
That adjusted stat is interesting. I've heard the debates of giving QBs half an int for tipped or dropped balls that get picked off and I'm torn on it.
Biggest reason, say a QB throws a ball 3 feet over a guys hand, he gets fingertips on it (tipping it) and it's picked off vs a ball a QB throws dead on the money as a guys facemask and he just botches it.
Either way, if you find the 2017 numbers, please share wentz's. He seemed to have quite a few picks of the tipped ball variety from what I remember.
