I want to improve the team and we obviously need an ILB. We will have Riley but after that nothing proven. A few like Robinson but I am bigger on Compton. We would still need another. FA is where we will have to go and I don't think there is a prospect in round 2 that is a day one, five year starter.

I don't think OT is a huge need. I would take an upgrade but don't need to force it. Interior line was much worse and OL coaching was horrible.

I think rolling the dice on a OT would be wise. Last year a lot of 2-4 rounders got significant playing time with minimal errors during the season. They are unlikely to regress. We could use a youth movement there.
I agree on ILB, not sure whats left there but we really cant expect a starter at this point.

Separate note: Gkekoa its pretty weird that our 2 favorite teams are Redskins and Broncos. I was born in Boulder and lived in Denver my first 7 yrs and then lived most of my life in Fairfax, VA.

I was born in MD and was a Baltimore Colts fan but I really don't remember. I was a fan because my dad was. When they left in the middle of the night, I went to the next closest team the Washington Redskins.


As for the Broncos, I hate all teams not Washington; however, I love Peyton Manning. He's the only reason I cheer for Denver. Once he's gone...so are the Broncos for me.

Which player could go from second-round status to the first round with a strong Combine workout? I'll give you three. Jarvis Landry, WR from LSU; Kelcy Quarles, DT/DE from South Carolina; Dee Ford, edge rusher from Auburn. There could be more, but those come to mind.

We got DT/DE Quarles in the 4th round. Not bad drafting I would say.

Another ILB to maybe consider is Jordan Zumwalt from UCLA. He played like madman in the Sun Bowl knocking Logan Thomas out of the game and also getting a pick. Not sure how he would do in coverage at the NFL level, but he passed the eye test in that game IMO. Looked like a good player.
