Little late here but i love Benjamin at #34 and can live with Thomas in the third especially since it seemed a lot of good players were gone. Id like Smallwood in the 4th but i havent been paying attention to whether he was taken or not.

Yeah...I didn't like the options in round 3. There are a lot of ILBs left.

The reason I like Bradford is his athleticism. He's big and fast. He has been an OLB in a 4-3 in college but his size and his coverage ability make him a good prospect for ILB in my opinion. Look at his tackles for a loss...to me that screams big play ability and good instincts.

I like Skov and Moncrief over Thomas. You have to factor in that Ribeye and Gettis are still on the roster.

Best still available I believe:

OT Santrel Henderson
DT Kelcy Quarless
DT Will Sutton
DE Demarcus Lawrence
DE Jackson Jeffcoat
ILB Preston Brown
ILB Max Bullough
OLB Telvin Smith
OLB Lamin Barrow
FS Dion Baily
FS Antone Exum
CB Loucheiz Purifoy
CB Bashaud Breeland

I say we go after DE Demarcus Lawrence if available when we pick

I had to do a double take on Purifoy. He was taken in the second round (about where he is graded right now).

I like Sutton, Lawrence, and Jeffcoatr from your list but not sure if they translate to a 3-4 very well.

How about Brent Urban?? There looks to be some value at OT left as well. Henderson, JuWaun James, James Hurst.

Thanks I didn't cross him off list. I know Gkekoa wants BPA and likes to take DE, or ILB next. My rankings is only based on ESPN's top 10 per position. They do not have Brent Urban ranked in the top 10 DE's. OT JuWaun James has already been taken in 2nd to Dolphins and OT Hurt was taken in 3rd to Ravens. I wouldn't mind taking a OT especially if its OT Henderson however I prefer to go defense after taking 2 offensive players but going with BPA its best man available for the Skins.

I'm thinking DE Lawrence, OT Henderson, or ILB Brown.

Important info: Redskins selection is tomorrow at 10am. However if Houston picks tonight we can select a player till 11am tomorrow before we start being skipped.

Ritz can you post ESPN rankings for best available.

I am a fan of WALTER too so I will look at them and post them on here by position with round rankings.

I'd like to wait until tomorrow for the pick because we will be first or second in order and this gives more time for a trade down.

Is there anybody you guys would take over a good trade down? Oh, I never get ripped off on the value chart...I try to do the ripping.

My take

safety...there are a few higher ranked on WALTER than the guys I like. I prefer bigger dbs with athleticism and that screams Tre Boston and Antone Exum. I think we can get one of them next round if we want...maybe even sixth.

Corner...same situation as safety. I prefer bigger corners and am already intrigued by our own. I like Amerson and want to see what Minnifield has.

ILB...huge need and Bullough is a big guy. I am not sure if he is fast enough but is a 3 to 5 prospect.

NT...could allow Cofield to move over. Deandre Coleman is an idea here and is a 3 to 4 prospect.

DE...Ego Ferguson has a round 2 or 3 prospect. Or should we wait for a Urban who is a bit taller. I would say Ferguson.

OLB...Kareem Martin is interesting. He migh r be able to put on a little weight and play inside on a 34 but he is listed as olb.

Here is what I am thinking.

1- Take Ego Ferguson
2- Take Deandre Coleman and maybe pick up Kelsey Quarles next round.
3- Take OT Billy Turner and then go after Defense next round.
4- Take Josh Huff, WR, and go after D next round. I know we already took a WR in round 2 but Huff is a guy that can play the slot that is described as quick and sudden, something we don't have. Could be best available.

I know some will be asking why not ILB, it's a huge hole. I just don't like the guys that are there. I don't believe they can cover. I think we can get Zumwalt later and I'm hoping for James Morris (one of my biggest sleepers) in the 6th or 7th.

Let me know what you guys think. I'll take your thoughts into consideration and make our pick at the beginning of the draft if I can't trade down.

I thought about Bullough but I don't think he can cover...that's what his draft issue is. And that's exactly what you need of a MLB. College is about stopping the run...NFL is about stopping the pass.

I'm still scratching my head about Thomas over Skov. We really needed a starting ILB next to Riley of whom I think we will re-sign. We have 2 guards (Ribeye & Gettis) on the roster along with a sure fire FA or 2 along the oline to fight for the guard spots.
