If he can recover from that ACL tear, he could be a steal of a pickup for someone. He'll likely have to sign more of a prove-it, short term contract.

Wouldn't shock me at all to see Fields as a backup in 2024. I'll be a little surprised if they can get a 3rd for him.

It depends on where the FA QB's land. If the Raiders are left without a QB they should get Fields. Offering right now is just bidding against yourself.

As long asyou don't put Adams in any deep coverage responsibility, and keep him close to the LOS, he could be a good signing for someone, but the instant you ask him to cover across the middle, up the seam, or take the RB/TE going deep, he's toast. Seattle couldn't wait to get rid of him.
