I really wanted Curl back. I'm going to trust Peters on this. I have PSD from watching the Skins replace Pierce and Ryan Clark with Trotter and Archuleta.

Looks like Quan is going to earn his keep.

I'm trying to be objective about this. If Kam Curl played for the Raiders and the Skins signed him for 15 per, how would I feel?

My reaction would be somewhere between, who, and he's pretty good.

I just remember what the defense looked like the first two weeks he missed in 2022. That said, we were 32nd with him. That doesn't mean he was part of the problem.

I wanted a GM. I got one. I will trust him until he gives me a reason not to.

Like a lot of folks here I liked Kam. I think he was a good strong safety, I think he understood the defense better than anyone in the defensive backfield than maybe Fuller. There is so much we don't know because of the coaching the past four years.

I am trusting our new personnel guys to make the right decision.

If they don't sign Curl, it probably means they aren't going to sign Fuller.

I would agree which in many ways answers that some of these guys weren't as good as what they want or they want to pay for.

It is hard to completely avoid it but once they clear the decks here I prefer not to have to many guys that got over paid. Not all but a lot of guys want to get to that big payday but not all play the same after they do. I am sure Peters and Quinn knows that but I am 100% sure Magic knows that. Years ago Magic said most guys are just happy to get here (NBA.)

I don't want them to completely sit on their hands next week, but I do want them to plan for the day they have to pay Drake or Jayden and not have to blow up the rest of the roster to do so.

I want to be in a financial situation where we have the space to be aggressive once the QB gets settled in.

I will be disappointed if we don't get at least one guy, day one or day two.

Just don't pull a Bruce Allen and sign Terrell McClain and Stacy McGee and parade them around like you did something. I do trust Peters not to do that.
