Be patient because they aren’t going star hunting
How can you not star hunt you have more money then anybody and the most holes. Bargain shopping is stupid .. people going make fun of us Commanders with 91 mill only picked up boarder line starters. I would lose a little faith in the F.O if this happens .. but I get it it takes 2 parties to sign.. break the bank on 2 Linebackers and a Center would be my strategy ..but I am in the camp of We still got good players but got coached by fucking Morons break the bank on at least 3

Snyder was so successful star hunting . Why break the bank on a 7 win team ? Sign players to short term deals and build through the draft

Why star hunt? Teams don’t let actual stars leave.

We don't have to go crazy in free agency but going cheap doesn't work there is a middle ground that Washington hasn't done in years

  • NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports the Jaguars and C Mitch Morse have agreed to a two-year, $10.5 million contract.
Mitch was a cap casualty of the Bills last week but has already found a new home in Jacksonville. The veteran center has $7 million in guaranteed money coming his way and now has a chance to reunite with Doug Pederson, who was his former offensive coordinator in Kansas City. Morse started all 17 games for the Bills last season and was graded as the No. 20 center in the league per Pro Football Focus.

Peters background in SF was to not go crazy in FA. I expected all along that he would be the same GM and he has told us that they were not going to go wild spending in FA.

My personal opinion aligns with Peters. Very few highly paid FA's have a big impact. I always think back to Riddick Bowe after he won the heavyweight title saying "it's hard to get up and run in the morning when you are sleeping on satin sheets." I think the same happens to many FAs once they get paid.
