The truth is, all you can do is show your kids the right way but ultimately it is their choice.

Sometimes kids are just born with differences not easily understood by their parents.
Genetic differences, for example.
The best thing to do is to explain to them the consequences of their actions, then offer unconditional love and support (but not necessarily approval), for them as they make mistakes, learn, and grow.
