I agree with you on the Stanford offense. The big linemen and a run first system always translates to the pros because its about size and power. Their defense is college all the way though; small, quick defenders but not a lot of lateral speed. They each cover a certain gap and that is all they know. And that does not transfer to the pro game well as we see by the dearth of excellent Stanford defensive players at the pro level.Actually Stanford runs a pro style offense and defense under David Shaw. Hey...we could have had Trubisky instead hahaaa...love the pick and the picks we hockey punched the Bears for.
