'It's huge': Deebo cleared to play in NFC title game

The 49ers and wide receiver Deebo Samuel got news Friday that he was cleared to play in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Lions. "It's huge," coach Kyle Shanahan said.

That's huge. I was concerned the 49ers wouldn't be able to move the ball given Detroit's stout defense against the run but having Aiyuk, Kittle, and Samuel all active.... a high school QB couldn't fuck this up.

Well rounded teams in this one. Difference will be Detroit running more easily than anyone expects. Lions will open up the run off some early completions. Niners should be able to pass with success, but a conservative gameplan backfires.

I'm just going to try to enjoy this one. They aren't expected to win unlike the previous 2 playoff games. The Lions D is not good enough to seriously think SB, but the Niners look more beatable lately than they did earlier in the season.

I am certainly worried that the Niners peaked too early this year. But that is just the worry-wart in me, hopefully.

Both would be redemption. Of the two (despite how this game going today), I think KC is more beatable. But both are very good teams.

With these two teams you can easily make a case for this game going a lot of different directions. Either team can win a blowout, shootout, or low-scoring defensive battle.

It would be the least likely of outcomes because both Ds are kinda of the bend don't break style so they are prone to give up some points but if both Ds shut down the run game and get pressure I could see a lot of stalled offensive drives for both teams.
