49ers coach Jim Harbaugh is really studying David Akers during pregame warmups. And he just applauded as Akers made a 53-yarder.

And more clapping from Harbaugh as Akers is good from 55. Now, from 60 . . . good again.

Akers is well short on a 60-yarder going the other direction.
