I wouldn't read too much into that. I'd suspect he just doesn't want to devalue the team if/'when they fail to get him anyway more than showing disinterest in either the money it will take or just in having him in general.

It's normal 'team speak' to say you love the guys you have.

On another note, the M's are currently 1-2 vs the Orioles so far this year. Do they really need to go 2-1 on this homestand to keep the pressure and momentum going? They closed the gap quite a bit, but the O's aren't the only challenge left this year and their anemic hitting will undoubtedly create at least a short losing streak at some point.

It just feels like they need to keep a 7 of every 10 pace the rest of the way to reach the playoffs. That's hard to maintain for even elite teams.

This falls on Servias for not getting them ready and some of his bad decision making. One thing I hate the most is when people say it's still early. Well if they played better early they'd be in the WC and close to the top of the division if not leading the division by a few games.

I'd take TM over the sandlot in the Bronx. Citizens Bank Park I think is one of the better ones with TM.
