Gregg Marshall's wife may have cost him an upgrade in jobs... well, probably not but still, that bitch is crazy.

I'm surprised people in Kansas are not scandalized by her behavior. You know, Bible belt and all. . .

this is guy is even more quirkier than crean.....not sure they could put up with him long term either

Corky Romano would coach Indiana forever if he led them to the sweet 16 every other year with a few presences in the Final four and winning it all once or twice.

If IU wants Marshall, just be advised they are going to have to pay him close to 5 million a year. And even that might not be enough. The longer this goes, the more I think it's going to be Alford.

Alford is a mediocre coach but he will galvanize the fanbase and lock up the talent in the state unlike Crean.

Yeah I have my reservations about how good of a coach he is as well. This was only his 4th S16 appearance and he's never made an E8. The way the athletic director was talking, that should in theory eliminate him as a candidate since they fired Crean who has made as many S16's and more E8's and FF(even though both of them are only 1)

The only issue is that you shouldn't rip him for not making more Elite 8s or final fours since his prior to jobs were at average programs. It's the same reason why I cannot call Harbaugh a mediocre coach yet due to his time only being at a rising from the ashes Stanford program and 2 years of Michigan.

Iowa made the S16 the year before he took over, that's a program certainly capable of getting there. It is a bit of a hit and miss program, but the fact he could only manage one NCAAT win at Iowa is rather alarming. And he was there for 8 years. He was okay at New Mexico, but even then he didn't get it done in the NCAAT(losing as a #3 seed in 2013 in the 1st round). And he walked into a really good situation at UCLA, so it shouldn't have been too surprising for him to succeed the 1st year.

Do you think Harbaugh is mediocre? Because 1) the punt against Michigan State and 2) The fourth down stop against Ohio State....

Harbaugh is the perfect and only coach for that program for the next 20 years.
