My 1st thought was how ridiculous this is but after seeing her full name, it actually is pretty cool.

Nothing cool about it. Worse than the maniac who has that Seahawk tattoo.

Completely agree... I thought the first name was "12th" which would have been ridiculous.

It's a little over the top though... NO? I mean I get the reasoning behind it but do they not care about this kids future when they grow up with this name?

A middle name, so the kid can keep it to herself, if she wants, so not that big a deal. Over the top? Sure it is

It's not even just the middle name, its a second middle name. My son has two middle names, and on almost all paperwork he is known only by his first middle name "Andrew". It's more honorary than an actual middle name.

Wonder if the Seahawks (though they have absolutely no obligation to) will do something for this family for making the middle name this

Ouch. Now that is a father who wanted a son and is not dealing with having a girl well at all. Hopefully she doesn't end up a lesbian.

A kid with two middle names can easily just omit one. How many people call themselves by a different name than their given as it is? Don't get me wrong, it's dumb to name your kids after sports. Just don't think it's going to be an issue for the kid later, no matter who she does or does not like in sports when she grows up.

I think any kid with parents who are dumb enough to name their kid after a sports teams fan base will have a lot more to worry about in the future than their middle name.

I have no problem with it. At least the parents didn't name the kid after an evil dictator like those parents who named their kid Adolf Hitler and couldn't understand why anyone would have a problem with it. Hell, it's not even as bad as when Kanye West gave his kid the first name North. I think people are overreacting to this.

Maybe she'll be a rebel and tell her parents she's a Texas A&M fan. Lol

then she would have to move to SF and become a 9er's fan

I would love my daughter to death regardless of her sexual preference.

But she will not be a 49er fan. I don't care how many church camps I have to send her to.
