7-5 now.

Nova did not look good but Cano and the pen saved him

For a team that was suppose to struggle big time in April, we look decent

Nova is so avg its not even funny.

Yankees had a 4-2 lead and what does Nova do? give up 2 hits and now it is 2nd and 3rd with no outs in the 6th

Terrible job by Nova and terrible job by the bullpen also.

Well at least it is another series win....This is our 4th straight series win.

Keep on winning series and you will be playing in October.

On to Tampa

The Yankees take the weekend series in Toronto 2-1, Hafner, Cano, and Wells are pacing the offense, while the pitching staff has been as good as advertised; with the exception of the back end, which is a work in progress. Very few people had the Yankees in playoffs, and while they are certainly a long way from there, they are nowhere near as bad as experts had them being.

CC struggles in Tampa continues. Our chances of winning this series now does not look good but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

If only fans could create bobbleheads. Do you think this would be one of them?

In case anyone is interested -

The original contract signed by Mickey Mantle for the 1960 season will be auctioned off and proceeds from the sale will be donated to a New Jersey relief fund for Hurricane Sandy.

Danny Mantle, the son of the Yankees' Hall of Fame outfielder says his mom deserves all the credit for keeping the contract along with other artifacts, and that it looks ''brand new.''

The auction will be conducted by Steiner Sports on its website starting May 1.
The Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund is chaired by Mary Pat Christie, the wife of Gov. Chris Christie.
