I've pulled for Alex more than anyone except a few people on this bard. But he's limited. He has poor pocket presence, his arm strength is mediocre at best, and he doesn't throw into tight windows. He is a very good game manager more of the time, but that's what he is. He cannot carry a team.

This game isn't entirely his fault. The D and STs have been appalling as well. But his INTs were terrible.

You're right, the entire team was pathetic but I'm pretty sure you remember Steve Young carrying a team on his back until he was knocked out by Aeneas Williams, making the 49ers a subpar team after that incident.

He is a game manager and that's probably why Harbaugh (although he deserves some blame as well) can't fully implement a playbook he had at Stanford since he doesn't have a QB like Luck on this team.

We came out looking good, but Akers miss FG hurt some of that early momentum. The Giants then got going, but we block a FG and get a big play. Then another Akers missed FG. The Offense fell apart then after halftime, and then Defense can not get pressure on the QB this year.
