new uniforms

Tennessee is supposed to unveil them tomorrow. We've already seen the home jerseys, and we already know what the away jerseys will look like, but there's gonna be an alternate worn once this year. Rumors are saying the alternate will be grey, and the game they will be worn is still TBD. But some think they will be worn at Oregon. Will post pics tomorrow if I can find any.

Word is they're going to be charcoal grey! Those should be pretty sweet! At the risk of angering some of the old school fans, I for one would love to see them sport black unis for just one game! All all black uniform with orange trim, matte helmets with a bright orange power T would be bad ass!

I don't know about the white helmet, i would have made the helmet match the uniforms (i.e grey).

Love em! About the only thing I would change is going with a matching grey helmet. But very sweet jerseys nonetheless!

Tennessee is expected to formally unveil all three of its uniforms for the '13 season --- Jones & Co. have added distinctive new touches to the home and away outfits as well --- during its annual pre-season media day today inside Neyland Stadium. Among the known changes on its two standard uniforms are the addition of Tennessee state outlines above the names on the backs of players' jerseys and branding on the fronts of uniforms above the jersey numbers. The home, orange jersey will feature an a distinctive 'Power T' above the numbers while the away jersey has been modified to include 'T-E-N-N-E-S-S-E-E' above the all-orange --- the black outlines are gone --- numbers.

No more black number outlines on the road unis.

Agreed, they need to coordinate the helmets but otherwise pretty sweet.

Agreed. I hated the black outline around the numbers.
