New posters recommendation thread

I sent BostonAJ an invite but have not been able to tell him to check his message center.

I'm pretty sure he went to HF. Great guy, though.

I completely endorse the inclusion of ofx.

And, if he ever shows up again, legrandplayer. Need some more Sens fans in here. And he's one of the ones who will actually post in the offseason.

I know there is still not a consensus on justasking...but read this post he recently made...should we not invite?:

"I really don't understand. Please explain this to me. The 1st page on the main board has about what, 50 topics on it. How many topics are truly "alive" in any given one time... I counted 2 hrs worth of threads, roughly 20 I think. No way are 2 hrs worth of thread still "aive" though. But it that time, there are 5 Pens thread.

That's fine in theory, but I've quoted and challenged him on a few of his posts and then he gets all whiny and pissy or brings out the tried and true deflect tactic to change the subject.

Having said that, I'm willing to give him a chance.

Having said that, I'm willing to give him a chance.

He doesn't seem that much in a hurry to leave, however. I'm considering just letting the "Beam Me Up" thread do the passive recruiting for us, as I've wasted a ton of work time here doing this. If others want to take the ball and run with it, by all means, go for it. MM213, Mooger, falconski all deserve invites.

It's funny. I read that same post and had the same idea. But I've seen some junk from him too as Dash noted.

I think we really ought to work to find some posters from different fan bases as well. We have lots of Pens' fans, it would be nice to see more from the Nordiques, Whalers, and North Stars.

Not sure about YanksDevsGmen (need other people to jump in here) but I am all for nostyle and knumbe.

FWIW, YanksDevsGmen has always seemed reasonable when I've seen his posts.
