Top Notch
Fans tend to fear change in NFL rosters, especially when teams make moves or plan outside of what is the popular choice by fans and media. If a player is unheard of, forget it, fans won't buy into him. Fans tend to forget that tons of players around the NFL became good players when they got the chance to play. Theres no garauntees but there's plenty of evidence that shows new players can develop into good players.
Fans of the Detroit Lions seem overwhelmed about the current events taking place with the roster. The loss of two interior defensive linemen is a major blow to a good defense but not one that a good defensive team cant overcome. The Lions honestly beat all odds considering the defense did see several new players, had a new scheme and coach. Tahir Whitehead, Slay, Digs and a few others made great strides in 2014 after overcoming much doubt.
On defense, moving forward, the Lions wont have to completely revamp the whole thing, but they certainly will introduce a couple new faces which isnt all bad. The team will definitely bring Van Noy along, and quite possibly add another CB and DT to the mix. Things dont look too bad going forward.
