I don't think so...They appeased the majority of fans by keeping the "Jets" name and hopefully they do a fine job with the logo and jersey and generate a ton of revenue for the team.

Yeah, I'd also say the owners are in a good position since the fans know they just paid a hefty "relocation fee" to get a team there. It gives the ownership group a little leeway with the fans for the first few years on prices as they can play the 'don't blame us, blame the NHL' card.

i think we will see the league do things for the jets you dont see done for other teams in order to squeeze as much revenue out of the winnipeg citizens as possible because the league doesnt want egg on their faces for going back to a cdn market

The new jersey will sell and i can see a vintage jersey with the original jets logo being approved to be worn in games this year ... those jerseys will sell too

I think they can make a good sales case that they are still the Jets, but a new logo allows them to separate from the "old" Jets and the pain that may be associated with that.
